Sahana’s mother used to sing a favorite song while she and Sahana washed and hung out the laundry. But after her mother dies and her father drops her off at an orphanage, Sahana can’t remember the song. Sahana longs to feel cherished and grows jealous as the other orphans get sponsors who send them letters and small gifts. Eventually, Robin, a teenage girl, sponsors Sahana. Together they share secrets and hopes. And one day, Robin gets the opportunity to personally deliver a very special gift to Sahana.
