Hi! Thanks for your interest in my writing.

I've been making up stories for as long as I can remember. In 1989 I finally got serious about it and joined SCBWI (The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators). In 2004 my first book, "The Wonderful World that God Made," was published by Kregel. And in 2005 I earned an M.F.A. in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the prestigious Vermont College program.

I love the interplay of word and image and am passionate about writing picture books. But I'm also compelled to write longer stories with older characters. Click on one of the links below to find out more.
