Big news about a little book!
I am thrilled to announce Zonderkidz recently reissued Thank You, Lord, for Everything. This rollicking rhyme will help your little ones develop a joy-filled life as they learn to thank the Lord for everything.
The text was inspired by my life verse, Philippians 4: 4-7.
Always be joyful because you belong to the Lord. I will say it again. Be joyful! 5 Let everyone know how gentle you are. The Lord is coming soon. 6 Don’t worry about anything. No matter what happens, tell God about everything. Ask and pray, and give thanks to him. 7 Then God’s peace will watch over your hearts and your minds. He will do this because you belong to Christ Jesus. God’s peace can never be completely understood. (NIRV)
Thank You, Lord, for Everything is one of three texts I wrote for a six-month old who loved Sandra Boyton’s books, but whose mother (my dear friend) wished the fun books had some sort of takeaway value. Considering this a worthy challenge, I used the themes of Thanking God, (Thank You, Lord, for Everything), Trusting God (God Is Watching Over You), and Praising God, (All God’s Critters Sing Allelu).
Since my undergrad degree included Linguistics, I upped the takeaway value by using all the phonemes (smallest unit of sound) in English to aid in learning to speak and read. For more information about phonemes, check out my phonemes page.

Great book – great message
This book has a wonderful, most important message! Each day is a gift from God and we need to be grateful for it! God is so good and this book clearly shows that to small children. Great writing and great artwork!

Gave out at our Baby/Young Child Dedication
Cute book for little ones. We gave this out to families at a Baby/Child Dedication for our church. I would say it is good for children up to around 4-5 years of age.
